David Rubal, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
An accomplished executive with more than 30 years in telecommunications, information technology and consultative sales, David has led government agencies, Fortune 100 companies and global multinational organizations through business transformation. David currently serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ultra Electronics, Criticom where he is responsible for managing field and inside sales, marketing, business development, sales engineering and channels organizations
Prior to joining Ultra Electronics, Criticom, David was the executive leader of Unified Communications, Collaboration and Telepresence sales for Cisco Systems across the U.S. Federal market and was integral to the company's recent acquisition and integration of Tandberg. Spanning 16 years at Cisco, David held other key executive leadership and technical positions as the Senior Manager of U.S. Public Sector Partner Organization, Systems Engineering Manager of U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Team, Product Manager - Packet Telephony Divison and Consulting Systems Engineer - Advanced Technologies. Prior to Cisco, David has held notable technology and executive leadership positions with Bell Atlantic, Timeplex, FiberCom, and Fiberlink Communications. David gained Cisco Certifed Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certification in 1995 and (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2006.
An acclaimed thought leader and next generation communications expert in the global internet community, David is an executive member of the IPv6 Forum, Internet Society, ACT-IAC, AFCEA International, Internation Cyber Threat Task Force and founder of Southeast IPv6 Task Force.
